On July 17, 2017, U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) released a revised version of Form I-9, Employment Eligibility Verification. The new edition will become mandatory on September 18, 2017. The current version, dated November 14, 2016, may be used through September 17, 2017.
